Hannah is one of MirrorWeb's Business Development Representatives. She spends her days speaking with prospects and keeping close to what's happening in the compliance space, and we wanted to shine a light on her.
What's your role at MirrorWeb and what does a typical day look like?
I'm a Business Development Representative, which means I'm usually the first MirrorWeb conversation a prospect ever has. Most of my days are split between speaking with leads and new prospects, and staying close to what's happening in the compliance space, with regulatory shifts, exam trends, what CCOs are dealing with day-to-day. That context matters a lot when you're trying to have a useful conversation. No two days look exactly the same, which keeps it interesting.
What's a recent win you're proud of?
A meeting I set a little while back that's turned into a real deal stands out. I'd done the research, understood what the firm was dealing with from a compliance standpoint, and came in with something relevant. The prospect actually engaged, asked real questions, and by the time they sat down with the team it was already a meaningful conversation rather than a cold introduction. Seeing teams get excited about the platform and how it can help them is a rewarding feeling.
Which MirrorWeb value resonates most with you, and why?
Be the Signal. In a space like compliance tech, there's a lot of noise. Vendors making big claims, regulatory guidance that keeps evolving, firms trying to work out what really matters for them. The value I try to bring, both internally and in conversations with prospects, is cutting through that and getting to what's relevant. Not just passing on information, but making it useful.
What excites you most about where MirrorWeb is heading?
The product. The regulatory and compliance space is only expanding and AI is accelerating that. Financial firms have new questions they didn't have a few years ago, and MirrorWeb is right at the center of those conversations. What excites me is that we're not just helping compliance teams keep up, we're helping them stay ahead, and focus on the work that actually requires their expertise.
What do you love about the MirrorWeb team?
The people. I think one of the most underrated things in any job is whether the people around you are constantly learning and pushing to get better. I see that everywhere at MirrorWeb. It's not just internal - the whole team takes client feedback seriously as something that shapes how we work and what we create as a product.
