We are growing fast in the US. The SEC and FINRA mandate that financial services organisations archive all digital communications, as well as monitor these communications to ensure any breaches are detected and actioned. Digital communications include a user’s email, social media channels, instant messaging platforms, mobile device, and their website. MirrorWeb offers a unified platform to capture, store, replay and monitor this activity.
The role:
We are looking for a reliable Assistant Management Accountant to assist the department head in the analysis and presentation of key financial data.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will offer direct support with all areas of accounts preparation, including oversight of ledgers, source entries, payments and credit control, and accounting adjustments. You would also have some responsibility to oversee and improve accounting procedures, assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets, and provide support with other ad hoc analysis as and when required.
You must be able to reliably assume responsibility of various accounting tasks, be commercial in your outlook, and employ a value-add mentality.

What You'll do:
- Record financial transactions through AR, AP, Bank Reconciliations and journals.
- Be responsible for the balance sheet reconciliations for various balance sheet areas.
- Analyze expenditure for correct coding.
- Assist the credit control function.
- Assist in ad-hoc analysis and forecasts in support of budgets, reforecasts, and cashflow projections.
- Maintain adequate records for audit.
- Identify areas for improvement in the existing process.
What you'll need:

- Good IT skills, including Excel, Xero.
- Part-qualified/qualified in a relevant professional qualification (ACCA etc).
- Preparing financials to Trial Balance level.
- Exposure to group accounting and intercompany adjustments, and multicurrency.
- Experience within a Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) environment preferred, but not essential.
