Employee Spotlight: Alexandra Crossen, Strategic Customer Success Manager

Alexandra is MirrorWeb's Strategic Customer Success Manager. She's looking after our most complex accounts, and we thought now was a good time to get to know her a little better.

What's your role at MirrorWeb and what does a typical day look like?

I'm a Strategic Customer Success Manager, which means I look after our strategic accounts. No two days look the same, honestly. On any given day I might be running a renewal negotiation with a procurement team, jumping on a call to walk through platform training, triaging a compliance incident, or digging into Gong to prep for a QBR. I also spend a lot of time being a translator between what clients need and what our product and engineering teams can deliver. It's fast, it's varied, and I really love that about it.

What's a recent win you're proud of?

A recent enterprise renewal stands out. It was a complex deal - multi-scenario pricing, a full procurement process, site scope changes mid-negotiation - and we got it across the line. But what I'm most proud of is the relationship work behind it. We didn't just retain the account; we came out of it with more trust than we went in with, which is the metric I care about most.

Which MirrorWeb value resonates most with you, and why?

Own the Outcome and Build Trust, Keep Trust without a doubt. In customer success, these two things are completely inseparable. You can't have a strong client relationship without trust, and trust doesn't come from just saying the right things - you have to follow through, every time. When something goes wrong, when timelines slip, when a product doesn't behave the way a client expected, the temptation is to manage the narrative. But what actually builds the relationship is owning it - being the person who calls before the client does, who comes with a plan, not just an apology.

What excites you most about where MirrorWeb is heading?

The compliance space has been largely reactive for years - firms archive everything and hope they never need it. What we're building with AI-powered supervision changes that entirely. We're moving clients from "store and pray" to proactive risk management, and I get to be the person who shows them what that looks like in practice. That's exciting to sell, and it's exciting to watch clients get real value from it.

What do you love about the MirrorWeb team?

I love the fact that nobody operates in silos. Whenever I'm navigating something complex - a tricky escalation, a multi-stakeholder renewal, an incident that needs a fast turnaround - people across product, engineering, and leadership just show up. There's no "that's not my problem" energy. Everyone is invested in the client outcome, not just their own lane, and that makes such a difference when you're the person sitting in front of the customer. It's the kind of culture that's easy to take for granted until you've worked somewhere without it.
